Hello! My name is April Piasecki, and I am proud to have been a part of the Rosenwinkel Insurance team since 2024. Originally hailing from Palos Hills, IL, I now call Munster, IN my home, where I live with my husband, Brad, who is from Portage, IN. Our journey together began with our marriage, leading us to find the perfect balance in our new community. With a background in Art and Special Education, I have dedicated several years to teaching students from kindergarten through eighth grade. My experience as an elementary art teacher in Chicago Ridge, IL, allowed me to connect with around 700 students weekly, and I take great pride in remembering each of their names. In addition to my passion for education, I am an avid concert-goer and a lover of all music genres. My husband and I enjoy exploring the vibrant city of Chicago, indulging in new culinary experiences together. Fall is my favorite season, and Halloween holds a special place in my heart, as I am an enthusiastic fan of horror movies. Photography and attending art shows are activities I deeply enjoy, as I have an insatiable curiosity for the history of buildings, towns, and the charm of old houses. A daily latte is essential for me, as I continually search for the perfect coffee. In 2023, my life took a wonderful turn when I welcomed my daughter, Mia. Embracing my new role as a stay-at-home mom, I made the decision to resign from teaching, but my desire to work part-time led me to Rosenwinkel Insurance. I am grateful to Tami and Ed for providing me with an opportunity in a new field, allowing me the flexibility to prioritize my family while contributing meaningfully to our team. As a compassionate and caring individual, I have found not only a new profession but also an amazing workplace that aligns with my values and aspirations.
