Hello! My name is Helen Burgess and I have been with Rosenwinkel Insurance since 2016. In 2007, I emigrated from the United Kingdom to be with my husband, Greg. We live in Schererville, Indiana with our daughter Natasha. My prior professional history is in the healthcare service. Specifically for 22 years I worked in the medical equipment repair field in the UK, where I specialized in the maintenance of radiation therapy machines for the treatment of cancer. After moving to the USA, I enjoyed 10 years as a "Stay At Home Mom" and have been involved with volunteering in school activities such as sports day, fun fairs, book sales and popcorn days. I was President of the band boosters, coached a local Under 10 soccer team, tackled a few DIY projects at home and continue to look after our garden. As a hobby in my younger days, I dabbled in a few equestrian sports, mostly for leisure riding in the English countryside and sometimes competing in eventing and show jumping events that took place local to where I lived on the outskirts of London. Now that I have joined the workforce again, I have the best employers in Tami and Ed, they are very welcoming and dedicated to the provision of a service that goes above and beyond. I enjoy the wide and varied experience that comes with the independent insurance service, meeting interesting people and servicing their insurance needs here at Rosenwinkel Insurance.
